Last day of term and we're finally going on a visit...

To inspire our students on their personal unit 1 work, we visited one of our trust schools to have a look at what they were up to. Beautiful work I'm sure you'd agree.

Chuck Close Portrait Artist

One of the artists to research for portraiture is Chuck Close. We are amazed by the detail and precision needed to produce work like this. Using a gridding technique he has been able to produce photorealism detail

 

Sense of Place and Point of View

Yet another week, and another art theme. Students used their own understanding of the theme A Sense of Place or Point of View.

We've found this amazing photorealist artist and we love her work for its close up, bright colours and of course SWEETS! 

 

 

Photography and Photoshop

As part of our students' induction into art and design, they have produced some fantastic photographs using a variety of themes such as worm's eye view, reflection, depth of field and macros and then edited some using Photoshop

Cubism and Surrealism

Art part of the art theme homework, students have produced some fantastic examples of these two abstracted themes.

Jenny Stolzenberg Shoe Artist
