Start of 2014-15 Autumn Term

Welcome to our new Year 12 cohort and welcome back to our Year 13!

We've only been back for two weeks and it's been busy filled with learning new techniques in photography, photoshop, drawing techniques- sighting, gridding and how to add shade and presentation of work. 

The Year 13s have started their personal investigations and have produced some great work over the summer. 

We'll post images of the students work soon but for now...welcome back!

David Lobenberg - Inspiration

Using watercolour, one of our students has explored the work of David Lobenberg. He uses vivid colours and a loose technique to create beautiful portraits. Here are some recreations of his work and how our student had developed her own

Developing colour with acrylic

You can use acrylic paints in many different ways. Here are some examples of how our students have used it.

Animal, birds and plants

Our students have developed some lovely responses to the question animals, birds and plants...
